Beginner, intermediate and advanced classes for adults to improve their English speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, and pronunciation skills.

Start Date for the fall session for the day and evening programs in Exeter will be Monday, September 21st, 2026.

Start Date for the fall session for the evening program in Portsmouth will be Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026.

Cost: Free

Free classes improve speaking, listening, reading and writing in English.

Where: Classes are held at the Tuck Learning Campus, Entrance D, 30 Linden Street, Exeter, NH.Location

Day Classes

Day Classes meet on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 9 - 11 am. Additional reading, conversation or technology class meets from 11 am - 12 pm.

Enrollment

NEW ESL STUDENTS: Please call our office at 603-775-8457 or email exeteradulted@sau16.org , to register by appointment. Enrollment is ongoing, as space allows.

Evening Classes

Evening Classes meet Monday and Thursday, from 6:30 - 9 pm.
