FINANCIAL AID INFORMATION
Temporary Health Partners:This initiative from NH Needs Caregivers offers free online training for temporary (120 day) positions in nursing homes with a career pathway into health care. The initiative will assist these temporary workers with accessing funding for LNA training while maintaining employment. The program is funded by a grant at the NH Health Care Association and also provides a $500 bonus for LNAs after 6 months of employment. Their goal is to train 700 LNAs across NH.
FREE SOFT SKILLS AND JOB PREPARATION TRAINING PROGRAM
Exeter Adult Education is pleased to offer the Northstar Digtial Literacy program to our students for them to earn computer skill credentials. Call the office for more information to get started .
The WorkReadyNH program helps job seekers and career builders improve their skills and add two certifications to their resume. WorkReadyNH offers a free 60-hour interactive classroom, which will help you fine tune your “soft skills”. According to employers, “experience gets you the job - soft skills helps you keep it.”
MYTURN helps young people aged 14-24 develop their skills, goals, and self-confidence through alternative education, post-secondary planning, career exploration, and employment training. Their programs work in concert with local partners including high-schools, employers, colleges, and social service agencies to provide a holistic approach to serving young people.
