BEGINNING CROCHET– Alesia Dopson- Tuesdays, 6 weeks, beginning March 10, $80, 6:30-8:30 pm
Learn how to read directions, increase & decrease, work in rounds vs. rows, and all the different “types” of stitches. Students will make multiple pieces, including a hat, potholder, and more as time permits. Supplies provided. Additional yarns can be purchased. Please bring scissors and pencil.

BEGINNING MELT & POUR SOAP MAKING - Channa Delaney- Monday, 1 night, March 16, $40, 6:00-9:00 pm
This hands on class is the perfect introduction to the world of soap crafting.  Learn to create
artistic and novelty soap with high-quality melt and pour, using non-detergent soap base. Make at least 4 different types of soaps, customized with colors, fragrance and other additives such as herbs, to take home. Along with your soap creations you will receive helpful handouts with instructions, tips, and recipes to try at home

CHAIR CANING AND RUSH SEATING – Carolyn Brooks - Mondays, 3 weeks, beginning March 30, $55,6:30-8:30 pm
Restore a chair by learning how to weave a cane or rush seat. Bring to first class a chair, pail, scissors, hammer and pencil. Materials provided. Maximum 8 students.

DECOUPAGE FLOWER POT – Linda Gebhart - Tuesday, May 12, $25, 6:30-8:30 pm
This class will use a 4 inch clay pot to decoupage with a pretty napkin. Makes a great, easy gift idea.

HANDCRAFTED LOTION - Channa Delaney - Monday, 1 night, March 23, $40, 6:00-9:00 pm
Learn to make luxurious lotion and cream from scratch. Learn about the necessary ingredients like emulsifiers, humectants, emollients as well as equipment and supplies to get started. A light-weight body lotion and a creamy moisturizer will be created. The two batches will be made in class and you will be able to add your choice of scent and color .

INTRODUCTION TO BASIC DRAWING – Marcia Dolgin- Thursday, 3 weeks, beginning May 7, $55, 6:30-9:00 pm

This studio style class will focus on understanding line, shape, contour and other techniques using pencil, charcoal, and Conté Crayons on large size newsprint pads.  The class will give students the opportunity to get into the nuts and bolts of basic drawing from real items as well as imaginative concepts. PAINTING WITH PASTELS –Lisa Mitchell St. Clair- Mondays, 6 weeks, beginning March 9, $90, 6:30-8:30 pm
This class will introduce the student to working with soft pastels, or developing skills in an experienced artist. Explore a different subject matter each week. Click here for the list of required materials.

SEWING – Wendy MacArthur Keith - Wednesdays, beginning February 4, 6 weeks @ $55, 10 weeks @ $90, 7:00-9:00 pm
Beginner will pick a project and learn the basics. Experienced sewers may decide on project to advance skills.
Class meets at the Cooperative Middle School in Stratham
