PAINTING WITH PASTELS - Lisa Mitchell

This class will introduce the student to working with soft pastels, or developing skills in the more experienced artist. Explore a different subject matter each week. List of required materials will be provided.

STONE POTS– Linda Gebhart

A perfect Mother's Day or Earth Day gift. Gardeners roll up your sleeves, once you start, you won't to stop making these enchanting little planters for you porch. Because they are small a grouping will make any tiny space a garden. Participants need to bring a 12 x 12 board or cookie sheet to work on and carry pot home on.

BASKET WEAVING - Jeanne Goddard

Learn to make and complete a twill weave market style basket in this course. All supplies included in course fee.

BEGINNER FLY TYING - Mark Foley

This course offers instruction on how to tie flies that will catch fish in salt and fresh water. Review fly tying equipment and materials options. Equipment and materials provided. Minimum of 5 students required.

CHAIR CANE AND RUSH SEATING – Carolyn Brooks

Restore the chair sitting in your cellar by learning how to weave a cane or rush seat. Chairs should have wood refinished.  Bring to first class: chair, pail, scissors, hammer, pencil.  Materials provided.

PAPER CLAY MOSAICS - Marissa Vitolo

Learn the process of making paper clay & create a mosaic wall art, designing the picture, making the tiles, and “grouting” with acrylic paint.

SEWING – Wendy MacArthur-Keith

Beginning sewers will pick a project and learn the basics. Experienced sewers may decided on project with the instructor to advance skills. Class meets at the Cooperative Middle School in Stratham.
