Adult Career Pathways
Many adults want or need to return to school for a career change but have rusty skills or lack of confidence. Exeter Adult Education’s career and college transition program has opportunities for you to:
*Explore what career is the best fit for you.
*Access information and advising on area training programs.
* Find out what skills you need to strengthen for future success.
* Improve skills through math, writing and/or computer classes.
* Try the Accuplacer® college entrance exam.
* Build a stronger bridge to college success.
* Receive help with college and financial aid search and applications.
Contact Student Services Coordinator, at (603) 775-8457 to find out about the options to help you develop a career pathway and/or make a successful transition to college. Affordable classes begin in September and January.
COST: $230 per course, $20 lab fee, if applicable. Classes meet one evening per week for 15 weeks from 6:00-9:00 pm unless otherwise indicated.
FALL 2017 SCHEDULE IS AS FOLLOW:
Biology with Lab - Liz Morse- begins September 11, 2017, 6-9pm. Emphasis on human biology, including cell structure/function, plant/animal kingdoms and genetics. Additional $20 lab fee. Class held at Exeter Adult Ed location, 30 Linden Street, Exeter, NH

Developing College Writing Skills - begins August 28, 2017, 10am-12pm . Class held at Great Bay Community College, Porstmouth Campus.
Developing College College Reading Skills/ENG 097 - Dan Provost begins August 30, 2017, 6:15pm-9:00 pm
Chemistry with Lab - Peter Seekamp- BEGINS September 7, 2017, 6-9pm
For students continuing science in college. Topics include: scientific measurement, composition of matter, mole concept, stoichiometry, gases, solutions, acid/bases, and titration. Lab hours included. Prerequisite: recent Algebra I or concurrent enrollment. Additional $20 lab fee. Class held at Exeter Adult Ed location, 30 Linden Street, Exeter, NH
Algebra I (Math 080)* - BEGINS September 7, 2017, 6-9pm Equations, positive & negative numbers, factoring, scientific notation, problem-solving. Class held at Exeter Adult Ed location, 30 Linden Street, Exeter, NH
Developing College College Reading Skills/ENG 097 - begins August 31, 2017, 9:00am - 12:00 pm . Class held at Great Bay Community College, Portsmouth.
Foundations of Math (MATH 070) - Julie Buckless- BEGINS August 31, 2017, 5:00-8:00 pm.
Master basic skills in whole numbers, fractions, decimals, percents, and integers. Class held at Great Bay Communiyt College, Portsmouth Campus.
